First Friday Night Singing

The Chuck Wagon Gang will be at Calvary on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 7:00pm for our next First Friday Night Singing.

Plan of Salvation:

If you were to die today, where would you spend eternity? For those who are saved, their eternal destination is Heaven; but for those who are not saved, hell is their eternal destination.

If you are unsure of your eternal destination, the plan below gives you a step by step guide on how to know you will be in Heaven when you die.

How can I be saved?

Admit you are a Sinner

  • Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"

Realize Christ Died and Rose Again for you

  • 1 Corinthians 15:3b-4 "how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third ay according to the scriptures"

Trust Christ Alone to save you

  • Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,"

  • Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Ways to grow as a Christian:

Be baptized.
Baptism identifies you with Christ.
Acts 8: 35-40 “35)Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36) And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37) And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38) And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39) And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40) But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.”

Study the Bible.
The Bible will guide you through life and answer life’s questions.
Psalms 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Share your faith with others.
2 Timothy 1:8 “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;”

Matthew 10:32 “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.”

Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Be part of a local church.
Ephesians 4:11-12 “11)And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Fellowship with other Christians.
Hebrews 10:24, 25 “24) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

God desires to meet your needs! Make prayer a part of your daily life.
Luke 11:2-5 “2) And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3) Give us day by day our daily bread. 4) And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
